COVID-19 Information

Covid-19 has changed our lives in different ways, but one sure thing is that everybody has been affected in some way. Many have experienced the devastating loss of loved ones. Half of us have seen our homes become our offices. While we've never needed our relationships more, the pandemic has put a significant strain on them.

We've done everything we can to maintain our current services and expand further to reach those who need us most.

Online therapy sessions

Most of our therapy sessions are now online using our video platform. For some, we even do it over a phone call, depending on the client's preferences.

We still offer face-to-face sessions under certain circumstances. We do all we can to mitigate the risks in those situations and ensure you feel comfortable meeting with us.

You're feeling stressed, anxious or struggling to cope right now. This is entirely understandable, and you're not alone.

Unfortunately, Covid-19 has negatively impacted our lives in a variety of ways. From coping with the "new normal" to anxieties around health and relationships to losing a loved one, taking on additional caring responsibilities or becoming unwell ourselves - everybody has been affected.

Your individual situation is entirely yours. Your experience and feelings are valid, relevant, and each of us needs the space somewhere, at some point to be heard - it's part of being human.

We've found that some of the common issues people are facing and finding therapy useful for are:

  • Isolation and loneliness
  • Stress and anxiety
  • The loss of a loved one - including people who aren't able to attend a funeral
  • Struggles around not being able to visit those you love in hospital or care facilities
  • Balancing finances in a turbulent time and worries about providing for yourself and others
  • Relationship issues - arguments with a partner in lockdown, going through a breakup or finding your feet in a new relationship
  • Identity issues - questions around your lifestyle, your choices and what you want for your life

How does therapy work?

Book the initial consultation
For most people, this first step is the hardest. You're not crazy. You're not falling apart. You haven't failed. Seeking therapy is not an admission that you're weak.
Learn what to expect
We want you to know what to expect from the therapy. It's nothing to be worried about but definitely worth learning more.
Attend your first appointment
The initial consultation is a "finding out" pre-therapy meeting where you tell us a bit about your situation and what you would like to address. We'll also ask you to complete some paperwork.

Whilst face-to-face sessions are available upon request, most are currently taking place online through our video portal. You can speak with your therapist from anywhere in the world, and you won't be required to install any software. Learn more about our online therapy option.
