Too many are affected

Therapy can help anyone transform their lives, regardless of who they are or how severe their difficulties may be. Still, you don't have to be in a crisis to benefit from counselling. It can help if you feel distressed or wish to address specific problems as well as assist you in boosting your self-confidence and identifying more effective ways of living your life.

Our Services

Insurance providers

There are two prerequisites to using insurance to cover therapy: having a plan covering mental health treatment and having local therapists in your plan's network. Great news - we meet the latter requirement! If you have mental health cover within your private health insurance, you have the advantage of being able to get all (or most) of your therapy paid for by your insurance provider instead of out of your own pocket.

We've partnered with one insurance provider with another two coming soon to give you greater access to therapy:

Go ahead and find out if your private insurance plan covers therapy by reviewing your plan documents or contacting your insurer's customer service number. For more information, you're welcome to contact our support team as well.

Where it begins

Initial consultation

The initial consultation is a "finding out" pre-therapy meeting where you can tell us a bit about your situation and what you would like to discuss. We'll also ask you to complete some paperwork.

The cost of this session is £30, and it will last approximately 45 minutes. Learn more about the initial consultation.

The most important thing to do after your first therapy session is to check in with yourself. Ask yourself how you felt your first session went, and see how you would feel about going to another. Remember: there's no such thing as a one-session cure, so you may feel a little better or relieved, but your symptoms won't immediately disappear.
the nuts and bolts

3-session commitment

After the initial consultation, we'll invite you to commit to 3 counselling sessions. Why? Because those who commit to the therapy process benefit the most from therapy.

We've also found that having this provision in place increases the likelihood of our clients seeing the process through to completion. Only then do they experience the relief they're looking for and become the best version of themselves.

After the first 3 sessions, appointments are open-ended, and we'll continue to support you for as long as you need our assistance.

Note: For those struggling financially, we're happy to make allowances and wave this condition.

Payment information

During the initial consultation, we'll explain how the therapy process works and our expectations regarding payments, amongst other things. However, here's a top-level snapshot to get you started:

  • All appointments must be paid in advance.
  • You may want to block book of sessions, which offer up to a 10% discount.
  • Sessions can be paid through our online client portal or via bank transfer.
  • If you are unable to attend the session for any reason, we require 48 hour's notice. Failing to provide notice, you will be charged at the full rate of the session.
