More than most, we understand the stigmas and challenges facing our cultural communities.

Individuals come to therapy for many different reasons. Sometimes it may feel as if life isn't making any sense. You may feel stuck or confused, lost or powerless and disengaged from yourself or those around you. Talking to friends and family may not always be the best option, and you can find yourself feeling very much alone with how you are feeling. Our team can support you through the various challenges:
You can find us at the Clock Tower in the Walsall Arboretum, a peaceful location perfect for in-person therapy. While we continue to offer online sessions for those who prefer them, our Walsall clinic is ideal if you’re looking for face-to-face support.
We're approximately a 10 to 15 minute walk from Walsall town centre and the bus station, making our counselling services accessible for those travelling by public transport. Street parking is available just a few minutes’ walk from the clinic.
We’re based in the corner of the Arboretum, right by the main crossroads in Walsall (Clock Tower, Arboretum, Lichfield Street, Walsall, WS4 2BU). If you're unsure where to find us, just look for the red brick building with the clock tower.
We regularly provide counselling in Walsall for individuals from across the borough and surrounding areas, including Wednesbury, Bloxwich, Aldridge, Brownhills and parts of Birmingham and Wolverhampton.

We provide counselling delivered by therapists who either hold a Master’s degree in counselling or are working towards one. We do not accept practitioners with lower-level qualifications, which allows us to support both common mental health concerns and more acute or complex challenges with care and clinical depth.
As an organisation, we are registered with the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). Each therapist is individually registered with a recognised professional body such as the BACP, NCPS or another accredited organisation.
We're intentional about matching you with the right therapist, so you are not simply placed with whoever is next available. Our approach combines warmth, professionalism and evidence-informed practice, giving you the confidence that your counselling is grounded in recognised standards and delivered with integrity.
You can meet with your therapist at our Walsall clinic, online via our video portal or a blend of both. Whether you're local or not, our team can help.

Between sessions – whether weekly, biweekly or monthly – you may want to get in touch with your therapist. Not for a full session, but to connect with them about something; you've had a breakthrough, a trigger has caused a spiral, or you'd like to bounce an idea off someone.
Our "Check-In Sessions" allow you to meet with your therapist for a short, potent 20-minute consultation. Diving straight into the issue at hand, your therapist will listen, unpack and provide support until your next planned session. These sessions are only available for current clients, and we offer one free "Check-In Session" to every client who makes the 3-session commitment.
Due to their conciseness, these sessions take place through our online video portal. Here's a summary of what you'll get:

After the initial consultation, we'll invite you to commit to 3 counselling sessions. Why? Because those who commit to the therapy process benefit the most from therapy.
We've also found that having this provision in place increases the likelihood of our clients seeing the process through to completion. Only then do they experience the relief they're looking for and become the best version of themselves.
After the first 3 sessions, appointments are open-ended, and we'll continue to support you for as long as you need our assistance.
Note: For those struggling financially, we're happy to make allowances and wave this condition.
We know that starting counselling is a big step, and we want the process to feel as simple and stress-free as possible. That’s why we’re upfront about our fees, with no hidden costs or surprises. Your journey begins with an Initial Consultation (priced slightly lower than a standard session). It gives us a chance to really listen, understand what you’re going through, and shape the support around your needs.
We also believe that cost shouldn’t be a barrier to getting help. That’s why we’ve partnered with organisations like NHS Talking Therapies Plus and Being You Therapy to offer additional support where needed.
We want counselling in Walsall to be accessible to everyone. If cost is a concern, just get in touch, and we'll find a way to help.
Starting counselling in Walsall is straightforward. You can contact us through our website or by phone to arrange an initial consultation, or you can book the appointment online. During this first session, we take time to understand what has brought you to counselling, what you would like support with, and what kind of therapist might be the best fit for you. Following the consultation, we recommend a therapist whose experience and approach align with your needs.
The cost of counselling in Walsall varies depending on the therapist and the type of session. We provide clear information about fees before you commit to ongoing therapy, so you know exactly what to expect.
We aim to offer professional, high-quality private counselling in Walsall delivered by qualified therapists, with transparency around pricing and no hidden costs.
Your initial consultation is an opportunity to talk about what is going on in your life and what you hope might change. We will ask some questions about your current situation, relevant history, and what kind of support feels right for you.
Additionally, initial assessments are a chance for you to check if we're the right fit for you. You might want to ask:
It may be worth writing your questions down and bringing them with you; it's easy to forget them once you're actually in there.
Our counselling clinic is based in the Arboretum in Walsall, a beautiful location for in-person therapy. We are approximately a 10 to 15 minute walk from Walsall town centre and the bus station, and street parking is available just a few minutes away.
The counselling room on the ground floor is wheelchair accessible. If you need step-free access, please let us know when you book so we can schedule you in the most suitable room.
Sometimes talking to a friend can be helpful, and counsellors often encourage clients to speak with their family and friends. However, there are some disadvantages to using friends as your only confidants and support. Learn more about the differences between talking with your counsellor and a friend.
